The
Lake Campus provides a full range of courses leading to the completion
of the first two years of a bachelor's degree. Besides pre-baccalaureate
courses, Associate of Arts and Associate of Science degrees are offered
for those wishing to concentrate in biology, business and
administration, chemistry, communication, English (literature and
professional writing emphasis), history, psychology, and sociology.
Technical associate degrees are offered in accounting, business
management, mechanical engineering, computer-aided/drafting design,
office information systems (options include legal administrative
assistant, medical administrative assistant, and word-processing
specialist), and technical studies.
For
those wishing to advance in careers, certificate programs are offered in
CAD/CAM, quality assurance, microcomputer applications, management,
desktop publishing, and word-processing. A range of courses at the
bachelor's and the master's levels are offered in education. The most
recent additions to the colleges offerings are 1) the Master's Degree in
Business Administration (MBA 2000 program) offered through the College
of Business and Administration; 2) an outreach nursing program from the
College of Nursing and Health that will permit RNs to earn a BSN; 3) a 2
+ 2 Technical Education Bachelor's Degree program in co-organizations
with Ohio Northern University.
